What drives the CEOs of different companies? It is a question I often thought about. And, especially, in these last years, during which they invited me to meet them and shared with me their experiences. However, to answer this question, I had to take time to listen and, moreover, try to understand them. Most of them work between 50 and 70 hours a week. And, one of the main objectives of this book is to give a more concrete, diversified, and individualized account of their day-to-day life. The twenty co-authors take part in the Management Progress Association and are all members of the same club. From there comes a shared trust between them, forged over the years, as well as a taste and habit for thinking, debating and sharing … The success of this gathering, which was not self-evident, justifies its utility.
